Well..it's the holiday season. SchmartBoard will be closed between Christmas and New Years, I will be in Chicago, our engineers will be doing whatever engineers do with their off time. I wanted to give you, one of my few but precious blog readers a present. I would like to tell you about a new line of products before we even tell the press. We hope to announce this in January.
Have you ever created a circuit board, had it fabricatedand then realized that you forgot a discrete component? What do you do then? 
The "SchmartBoard|ex Flex" will solve this problem. You'll be able to hand solder your discrete component using our "ez" technology and then stick the component unto your circuit board. The SchmartBoard|ex Flex has an adhesive backing to make it easy. You can then use jumpers to make your electrical connection to the new component. More information will be released, but you can tell your friends that it's old news to you! Happy Holidays from Schmartboard.
SchmartBoard plans to make some major changes to the website in 2008 that will add significant value to 
enginners, educators and hobbyists. We put out a request to take a survey and many have responded. In fact we have 80 people from the US, UK, India, Netherlands, Canada, Turkey, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and Greece. We could use some more for the survey wchich will be e-mailed on Monday. We especially need educators. A gift will be given to those who participate. To be considered for the survey, send and e-mail with "Survey" in the header and your name, location and whether you are a hobbyist, educator or engineer in the body. Any other information you choose to include will help us choose you as a participant. With less than 1 month to go in the Schmartie Awards , a new slew of entrants are signing up. In this week alone, new entrants represent people from Canada, India, Lebanon, England, and The US.
