Schmarties almost like US politics

Money While I watch the US election wars on TV and shake my head, I kind of chuckle.  While Hillary and Bill gang up on Barak, and Mitt says that John is not conservative and Rudy makes his stand in Florida, and Fred just says the heck with it and drops out, the rest of us wait to see what eventually pans out.  Internally at SchmartBoard, we are debating which person will win the Schmarties.  We have our short-list and will soon be able to make an announcement.  Happily, we are a lot more civil than the presidential elections. Although it would be kind of fun to make half true TV commercials such as "one of our engineers voted against using a less expensive component" and "is responsible for pork barrel spending for upgrading his soldering iron".   Stay tuned....I think it is going to get interesting...the Schmartie primaries are almost over and someone is going to walk away with $1000.

Screensaver

Racehorse_2 Do you love our monthly Professor Schmart cartoons?  Many have told us they do.  So, we got around to creating a screensaver with Professor Schmart.  By the way, people send us ideas for what the professor should be doing for our monthly cartoons.   If we use your idea, you'll receive a full panel of 1st generation SchmartBoards!   When your machine is idle, show people you have style with the Professor Schmart screensaver today!

Electronic Kits...The Schmart Way

I'm sitting at Sujus Coffee in Fremont, CA, watching the rain....we even had some thunder and lightning..which is rare here.  I am working on SchmartKits.   For some time, I had talked to a number of kit companies to convince them to use EZ technology on their boards.  It would allow them to utilize SMT parts on their boards, and greatly expand the possibilities.  Today instead, when SMT is involved, they pre-solder that part or find a way around using SMT altogether.  I was not looking to make a big profit...just get our technology out there.  Well, these companies are old school and have not seen the light.Soldering_iron

We're not easily deturred though.  We do not want to be in the kit business...so we thought about how people with no ability to read schematics might use our boards to build stuff.  We will soon make schematics availabe on our website that show people exactly where to hand solder parts on our boards to build popular circuits.  Just a few to begin with...but eventually we have a way to offer thousands of circuits in which anyone can build circuits with zero experience due to our EZ technology and the new way that we'll lay them out over our SchmartBoards.   Now, I'm not sure that I even have a reason to deal with the kit companies..but am always willing to talk if they decide to call.

If you can't join them..beat em!
