Thanks for sharing this. Technology is moving rapidly. It seems that every day we find new ways to complete the tasks we have to often. Often, the new techniques give us better results or allow for greater efficiency.
Since investigators at Children's Mercy Hospital have already used whole genome sequencing to diagnose critically ill infants who have genetic diseases, I am sure that other hospitals are not far behind. All that is needed is the funding for the right equipment.
